1/28/10

OOLTEWAH, TN—This is Tyler Segarra, a 10-year-old who attends the Lester Coon Apison Seventh-day Adventist School. He led an effort in the Apison Church called "Change for Life." He challenged his friends and family to save their change. In the end, he raised $1000, which he gave today towards the Samaritan Center's Haiti Disaster Relief Matching Fund. It will be doubled and given to international relief agencies currently working in Haiti and selected by the Ooltewah-Collegedale Ministerial Association. The Apison Pathfinders were also involved in his fundraising efforts.
