KNOXVILLE, TN—The Knoxville Spanish District has organized
its missionary force and has now concentrated its endeavors to focus on small groups.
Twenty-four groups have been organized with the purpose of integrating the
church members in a lifestyle of discipleship.
Church members get together in these small groups to pray,
sing, share their testimonies, study the Word of God, and make plans for
reaching out in their missionary endeavors.
As a result of these weekly meetings of communion and
testimonies, the spiritual lives of the participants are being strengthened and
at the same time, a missionary lifestyle is beginning to arise. We believe that
these small groups form the more effective foundation for the Christian
outreach for the qualitative growth and evangelism of the Church, for this
method has been shown “by Him who cannot err.” (Testimony
Treasures, Volume 3, Page 84.)
