It is with great excitement that we announce the Georgia-Cumberland Conference Office of Education participation in the Georgia Student Scholarship Organization (SSO). We wish all GCC schools were eligible for this, but this scholarship is only available for schools in Georgia.
This state approved program has the potential to be a watershed opportunity to fund Adventist Christian Education in Georgia utilizing your tax dollars. If you are currently paying taxes to the state of Georgia, join with me in converting those dollars to scholarships for Adventist Christian education.
You may choose the Georgia school where you would like to donate funds but you may not decide which student receives the funds. That decision will be decided per school based on criteria set by the state of Georgia.
We are truly excited about the potential of this program. This is one way to make Adventist Christian education more affordable in our Georgia schools.
