The President takes the lead in the effort to cast a corporate vision for expanding God’s Kingdom in the Georgia-Cumberland Conference. He provides leadership for the Executive Committee to effectively govern all of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference ministries. President Ed Wright serves on more than 20 boards, visits more than 20 churches each year, and has spent more than 75 days per year involved with work-related travel.
In addition to his numerous administrative duties, the President oversees the Communication and Publishing departments.
