Please join us on the National Day of Prayer as we surround Gordon Hospital to pray for our hospital and our community.
11:30 am - Due to construction at the hospital and limited parking, shuttles will transport prayer warriors from the Gordon Central High School campus to the hospital campus. The shuttles will run every 10 minutes until 12:20 p.m. Church vans and buses will be permitted to unload passengers at the main hospital entrance.
12:25 pm - Available hospital employees will exit the hospital and join the prayer circle. Visitors and guests are also encouraged to participate.
12:30 pm - Sirens from several local public safety vehicles will sound, signaling the time to pray from your heart or from the prayer card provided.
12:33 pm - A second siren will sound signaling the end of the prayer, or you may continue to pray for as long as you wish.
Staff will be available to help position groups along the chalk line to ensure that the entire hospital is surrounded. All Christian believers are invited to lift their hearts to Heaven for Gordon County and Gordon Hospital. If you have any questions or special concerns, please contact Chaplain Dave Smith at 706-879-4718.
