The Georgia-Cumberland Adventist Book Center operates two store locations within the conference. One is located in Collegedale, Tenn., and the other is located in Decatur, Ga. Pam Reifsnyder manages the Decatur location and is assisted by several capable and dedicated staff members. Over the past five years, the Decatur location has been blessed with an increase in sales each year. It is the goal of the staff to spread God’s word throughout the greater Atlanta area. Bruce Jacobs, general manager of the ABC, is located in Collegedale. His management team includes assistant manger Russ Jenson, Barbara Clemons, and Diane Harvey. The work force of the Collegedale location is made up of other part time staff members. Each day it is the desire of the staff to be able to bring Jesus closer to those they come in contact with through the printed word. During the year, the ABC ministers to the conference through many different venues. There are sales at Cohutta Springs for conference and union sponsored events and camp meeting sales on the campus of Southern Adventist University. The Bookmobile travels to a variety of churches throughout the conference, at times offering camp meeting specials to those who can not make it to the Collegedale, Tenn., camp meeting. The ABC is always looking for new ways to grow by experimenting with different sales ideas. Success has been seen with the Truck Load Food Sale, which takes place at Camp Meeting time, utilizing the conference office as a central location. The ABC is always looking for ways to better meet the needs of the constituents. Sales during the years have continued to grow and the ABC staff truly feels blessed. The Georgia-Cumberland Conference Adventist Book Center is proud to represent the Georgia-Cumberland Conference as they partner together in spreading God’s word.
