It is the mission of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference Trust Services department to assist its constituents in faithfully managing God’s resources through planned giving and estate planning. It is this department’s intention to inspire the members of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference to be more aware of their stewardship responsibility to family, loved ones, and the church through prayerful and effective estate planning.
Services Provided by Trust Services/Planned Giving
To each constituent of the Georgia-Cumberland Conference, the Trust Services Department offers estate planning services. A last will and testament, general power of attorney and a living will for healthcare are provided at no cost to the church member. These documents are prepared by an attorney who specializes in estate planning. In addition, revocable trusts, self-administered trusts, living trusts, and charitable gift annuities are also available; however, these documents would require a small fee.
The Trust Services department is directed by Mitch Hazekamp. Trust Officers include Bob DeForest, Les Speer and Tricia Orange. Cherie Marzano serves as the administrative assistant.
