Expression Session

At the expression session, we want to highlight youth, collegiates & young adults that are gifted musicians, actors/actresses, or have a unique or compelling testimony or something else that you feel would bless the audience. To nominate someone for the Expression Session, complete the form below.

Offering
In order to have a first-rate event, $5 per person is the suggested offering. Leaders can collect from each person and bring one check to cover your youth group contribution. Thank you for helping to make this youth event possible. Similar one-day events cost $50 per person!

Shirt Off My Back
Go through your closet and bring a bag of clothes you don’t use.  An Atlanta thrift store will sell the items and send a check to ADRA for Haiti relief projects. Lets fill the truck up!

Those Who Share

David Ferguson - David works as director of Undergraduate Leadership Development at Andrews University. A natural storyteller, his greatest loves include his family and coaching and teaching the next generation of leaders. His unique perspective on Scripture unavoidably matches humor with creative depth. “Little makes me happier than the laughter of God’s people,” he says. He is a graduate of Andrews University.

Shawn McDonald - Shawn grew up abandoned by his parents, lived with his grandparents and got involved in drugs to escape the pain of his rejected life.  Six years ago he hit rock bottom.  Fortunately, a Christian friend was there to point him to Jesus.  Not only did Shawn find the acceptance from God he desperately needed, but he discovered he had musical ability. Now he has been named one of the “top ten artist you should get to know!”   While he carries the scars of a painful past, you will be amazed at what God has done in his life and encouraged about what God can do in yours!   You definitely don’t want to miss this!

You! - Much of our festival program is you! Georgia-Cumberland Conference celebrates your God-given talent and willingness to use it! Chaplains, teachers, and pastors are nominating youth, collegiates, and young adults from all over our conference to participate. Can’t wait!
