Kelch Writes NAD Devotional for Teens

Kalie Kelch, a member of the Georgia-Cumberland Academy Church in Calhoun, Ga., is the author of the 2014 junior/earliteen devotional “Grab Your Boarding Pass.”

The devotional takes you on a tour of America and areas of Guam, Canada, and Bermuda in search of lessons that will prepare you for heaven.

Kelch has been involved in church ministry since she was 10 years old, helping with music and/or children's ministries for as long as she can remember. She and her husband, Randy, moved to Calhoun, Ga., in June 2012. Both are actively involved in youth ministry at the Georgia-Cumberland Academy Church. Kalie serves as the Adventurer director of the GCA/Calhoun club, helps with the Cherokee Pathfinder club, and assists with the praise and worship class at the academy.

In addition to her volunteer ministries, Kelch homeschools their two children, Katelyn, 11, and Ryan, 8, and works as a book editor for TEACH Services, Inc., an Adventist publishing company. Kalie graduated from Southern Adventist University with a bachelor's degree in public relations and a minor in music.

Kelch wrote Grab Your Boarding Pass because she has a deep desire to make the Bible practical and real for kids. She seeks to help kids develop a friendship with Jesus and use their talents for Him by finding their place in church ministry while they are young.

To purchase a copy of her book you can visit your local ABC or purchase online at AdventistBookCenter.com.
