Miguel was born on the island of Puerto Rico. He is the youngest son of Manuel and Irma Tirado.  He was privileged to grow up with numerous family and friends who gave him strong christian values.  He married Mayra Alicea in 1987 and they have two children, Miguel and Eric.  

Miguel studied  Business Administration in 2001 in Puerto Rico, but felt the call to devote himself to ministry.  He deciding to study theology at Andrews University to finish with a Master of Divinity degree.  While studying, he pastored a church of Hispanic immigrants in the town of Eau Claire, Michigan.  After graduation, he received a call to pastor a district in Marietta, Georgia.  By 2012 he was called to serve as Hispanic coordinator in the territory of Georgia Cumberland Conference and is currently serving in that position.  Miguel continues with Family studies and has just certified at level 2 as a professional educator with Adventist Family Life Association of the North American Division.
