Cleveland First Hispanic Celebrates Adventurer Club

The Cleveland First Hispanic Company celebrated the inauguration of its first Adventurer club on Sept. 14.
Hector Hernandez, pastor, baptizes one of the Adventurer club members.

On Sept. 14, the Cleveland First Hispanic Company (Cleveland, Tenn.) held an inauguration service for its Adventurer club. Before the ceremony, members rejoiced over the baptism of one of the girls in the club.

The church started the club as a way to reach out to community children following this summer’s Vacation Bible School.

The group consists of 20 members—nine Eager Beavers and 11 Adventurers—and is only 60 percent Adventist. Adriana Almaguer leads the club with the help of seven staff members.
