In response to the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey on the Houston, Texas, community, the Samaritan Center collected critically-needed materials to assist in the momentous work of cleaning up.

The Center parked a large truck in their front parking lot and sought donations from community members. One hundred percent of all cash donations went to support the disaster relief efforts.

Students at Southern Adventist University and Chattanooga State College also held drives to benefit the Samaritan Center's efforts in Texas.
